Rocket goes to 65th Festival de Cannes – that’s twice in a row, kids!!!

Team Rocketlight heads to Cannes for the second time. This year the hit they French Riviera with Botes al Amanecer  – Rocket’s joint collaboration with 4&1 Siblings.

Starring Jose Yenque (Miss Bala, Traffic) Botes al Amanecer, (“Cans at Dawn”) is a short film about an immigrant family’s daily ritual of dumpster diving for recyclables in order to subsist in urban America. This short is a meditation on resilience, as seen through the eyes of a young boy.

So far, so good for the festival run for this short; it screened at Santa Barbara International Film Festival in earlier this year.

We wish cast and crew the best of luck at Cannes!
